The last two weeks have been manic!
Its all been a bit up in the air at the Simple life Headquarters!
I’ve been house sitting…
A family member has been in hospital (a standard procedure went a bit pear shaped but its all good now!)
Every time I sat down at my computer to get my next blog post out, study, and most importantly crack on with my Ebook the cursor would be flashing at me and so was my phone!
Sometimes does it feel like the world is calling you left, right and centre??
At times like these I’ve learnt its best to just surrender!!
So I closed up my books, unplugged, switched off and had a bit of a digital detox….ok there was a bit of instagram scrolling….but I just decided I’m going to hang with Ted and Tallulah the two dogs I’ve been looking after that are the cutest furry souls on this planet!!♥
Watch any plant or animal and let it teach you acceptance of what is, surrender to the NOW. Let it teach you Being ~ Echart Tolle
Animals always bring it home for me so I let Ted and Tallulah lead the way. We’ve been inseparable!
So the last week has been about adventure……fun…acceptance…..loyalty….peace….but most of all…
No matter how crazy life is animals will always connect you to the present moment, exactly where you should be. And these two little creatures have reminded me of that.
So after spending a bit of time of line and the dust has finally settled I’m super excited to get back to the blog next week. I’ve got a new segment which I will be launching in a few weeks called Passionate People and my first interview will be with one of Brighton’s finest yoga teachers and the creator of Kalm Karma, Natasha Quinn. I cant wait to share it with you!
I hope your having a wonderful week and whatever is going on in your life at the moment you are finding some kind of peace.
Oh…and before I sign off I’d love you to check out my out my new video clip on my home page.
Sending you lots of love and light
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work, it means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
