There is nothing more sacred to the soul than time out in nature. ♥

Last week hubby and I took some time out. We thought it would be nice to have a bit of a contrast on this break so –  we went from the hustle and bustle of the crazy streets of London, soaking up all the cool city vibes – to deep into the Sussex country side.

I adore wandering around big cities and there is so much to learn culturally from museums, art and majestic buildings, but the biggest things I learn always come from time out in nature.

Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. ~ Lao Tzu

So here are the 3 lessons I learnt fully immersing myself into nature.

♥ I live by the saying ‘the key to living is giving’ and that’s what nature does, it gives us so much beauty, freedom and guidance and never expects anything from us in return. A tree embodies the quality of self-giving.

It provides the air we breathe, shelter – and shade for humans and animals. And when the divine timing is right it will become abundant with fruit, providing animals and humans with nourishment.

Cute deers hanging out under the trees

Their strength, beauty and stillness symbolise the magic and wonder of life.

So be a part of the tree appreciation club and go give one a hug! It’s good for the soul…trust me!!!

Soul Lesson..Nature is selfless. Giving and offering are beautiful qualities I will practise daily.♥ Every piece of nature seems to co-exist on this planet harmoniously. I loved walking through the fields of the Knepp safaris watching all the animals ‘doing their thing’ so present and respectful. Plants and animals must coexist to survive. They depend on each other because each provides something the other needs.

Soul Lesson..To always be more accepting of others, be aware of other people’s needs and to remember we are all in this together.

♥ The first day we arrived at Knepp Safaris we had it  all planned out…but the weather had its own plans too! But after a few torrential downpours, the clouds broke and a beautiful clear blue sky appeared –  and to top it off there was a stunning beautiful rainbow too!

Soul lesson…sometimes we just have to surrender and trust that it will all eventually work out.
